Most trees we remove aren't standing alone in an open field. They're next to a house, over a fence, or near power lines, which means they can't just be felled in one piece. Here's how a typical removal goes.
First, we look at the tree. We check whether it's dead, leaning, or hollow, what it could hit, and how we'll get the equipment in. Backyard access through a narrow gate changes how we plan the job.
The price depends mainly on the tree's size, how close it is to structures or lines, and how much wood and brush there is to haul. A big oak over a roof takes more rigging and time than the same tree in an open yard. We give you a written estimate before any work starts.
On removal day, a climber takes the tree down in sections, lowering heavy limbs with ropes so they don't hit anything. Brush goes straight into the chipper, and the trunk wood is cut and loaded onto the trailer.
When we're done, the debris is gone and the yard is raked. If you want the stump ground down or the area replanted, ask about it in the estimate. Call (512) 563-0445, and remember that new customers take 20% off.
