In Central Texas, a yard can go from tidy to overgrown in a single wet season. Hackberry and cedar seedlings shoot up along fence lines, vines climb the trees, and brush fills in every corner nobody mows.
Start by deciding what stays. Mark the trees and plants you want to keep, then clear everything else around them. Small unwanted trees are much easier to pull while they're young than after they've grown into the fence.
Work from the edges in. Clearing the fence line first shows you the real size of the yard and whether the fence needs repair. It also removes the brush where pests like to hide.
The hardest part is usually the haul-off. A cleared yard can produce several trailer loads of brush and limbs. We bring a chipper and trailer so it all leaves with us the same day.
Once the yard is open, it's a good time to plan landscaping, a new fence, or simply regular upkeep. Call José Tree Service at (512) 563-0445 for a free estimate on clearing, haul-off, and whatever comes next.
